Meet the Team
Andrew Javor - Founder and Launch Photographer
Born and raised in Florida, Andrew Javor is a launch photographer and journalist covering the Space Coast. His passion for spaceflight began as a child, chasing Space Shuttle launches across the state.
In 2020, he founded Florida Spaceflight during the historic Crew Dragon Demo-2 mission, driven to document the return of human spaceflight from U.S. soil. Since then, he has dedicated himself to capturing launches and delivering real-time coverage of Florida's growing space industry.
When not on the coast, Andrew works as an EMT — balancing emergency response with his work documenting the next generation of space exploration.
Eric Pearce - Launch Photographer
Eric Pearce is a launch photographer whose passion for spaceflight began at home. His father, who worked on the Lunar Rover during the Apollo program, introduced him to both space and photography—gifting him his first camera, a Canon T50, which he still owns today.
That interest took hold when he watched the launch of STS-1, the first flight of Space Shuttle Columbia, on television.
In 1998, Eric began working for Rockwell International in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and made regular trips to Florida’s Space Coast to witness Shuttle launches in person.
He relocated to Melbourne, Florida in January 2011, where he witnessed and photographed the final three Space Shuttle missions—documenting the closing chapter of the program from a front-row vantage point.
