Artemis II
On April 1st, 2026, at 6:35 p.m. Eastern Time, NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) roared to life at Launch Complex 39B, marking the successful liftoff of Artemis II, the first crewed mission of the Artemis program. This historic flight sends astronauts Reid Wiseman (Commander), Victor Glover (Pilot), Christina Koch (Mission Specialist), and Jeremy Hansen (Mission Specialist) on a journey around the Moon, paving the way for humanity’s return to the lunar surface.
